Congress must connect rich, poor India: Rahul

NEW DELHI - Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi said Tuesday that the empowerment of the poor will take the country forward and his party was striving to bridge the gap between those getting prosperous and those lagging behind.

“There are two Indias in the country today - one that is moving forward fast and one which lagged behind… work of the Congress is to connect the two,” Rahul Gandhi said at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) meeting here.
