RSS, SIMI both have destructive ideology: Congress

NEW DELHI - Congress party on Saturday termed the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) and banned Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) as “similar” for following “a destructive ideology”.
Speaking to reporters in the national capital, Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari said: Involvement of the RSS in the Malegaom and Ajmer blast is hampering India’s strategy to counter Pakistan produced terrorism.”
“Both the SIMI and RSS are similar and both have destructive ideology, which is against ideology of India,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has filed an 806-page charge sheet in the 2007 Ajmer blast case . It accused Devender Gupta, allegedly linked to a radical group Abhinav Bharat, Chandrashekhar and Lokesh. (ANI)
