BJP core group to discuss Karnataka situation today

NEW DELHI - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) core group will hold a meeting here on Tuesday to take stock of the developments in Karnataka.
The core group will meet under the chairmanship of party president Nitin Gadkari at 11 a.m. at senior leader LK Advani’s residence.
The core gorup will take stock of the developments in Karnataka in wake of Governor HR Bharadwaj’s recommendations for the President’s Rule in the state.
The core group comprises of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, her counterpart in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley, former party presidents Rajnath Singh, M. Venkaiah Naidu, M.M. Joshi, Karnataka leader and MP Ananth Kumar, among others.
Meanwhile, the Union Cabinet is scheduled to meet at 4.30 pm to discuss the Karnataka issue. (ANI)
