President Obama called Prime Minister Reinfeldt of Sweden today to congratulate the Prime Minister on his re-election. The President thanked the Prime Minister for Sweden’s leadership on a broad range of issues, including Swedish support for the International Security Assistance Force mission in Afghanistan. The two also discussed the United States’ and Sweden’s effective collaboration against the threat from al-Qa’ida and its allies to Europe.
