Cameron’s father dies during French holiday

LONDON - The father of David Cameron, Britain’s prime minister, has died in a hospital in France after suffering a stroke, Downing Street reported Wednesday.

Cameron had earlier cancelled all political engagements to be with his 77-year-old father, Ian, at his hospital bed in Toulon, near where the elder Cameron had been on holiday.
