Dick Cheney Hospitalized After Illness

WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- Dick Cheney, the former Vice President of United States who is counted among one of the most influential and strong Vice Presidents ever in the history of the United States politics, has once again been admitted to the hospital on Friday. The spokesman of Dick Cheney, Peter Long has said to media sources that Dick Cheney was examined by physicians of the George Washington University hospital after he complained of some illness. The doctors advised the former Vice President to stay in the hospital and undergo certain necessary tests. The former Vice President will be remaining at the George Washington University Hospital during the weekend. The condition of the former vice President is not known.
Although on Friday the office of the former Vice president release a statement mentioning the admission of Dick Cheney at the hospital, nothing was mentioned about the cause of the sudden admission and tests. It is still not clear whether Dick Cheney has once again suffered from heart- attack as he has a past record of it. In the last 32 years he has survived five heart-attacks and many other heart related illnesses. The office on Friday declined to comment any further on the issue of Dick Cheney’s health.
It is for the second time in the same year that Dick Cheney has been admitted to the hospital. He suffered his fifth heart-attack in February this year. He survived heart-attacks on 1978, 1984, 1988 and 2000 as well. In 2001 he was fitted with a pacemaker. In 2005 Dick Cheney was operated in each of his knees for an arterial aneurysm. However all these have in no way affected his political career and he still remains one of the critics of the administration of the President of United States Barack Obama.
