Obama to meet with European leaders next week

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama plans to meet with a dozen European leaders next week in Prague, where he will sign a nuclear arms treaty with Russia.

The White House said Friday that Obama will attend a “head of government” dinner with leaders of central and eastern European countries. They include Prime Minister Donald Tusk of Poland and President Vaclav Klaus and Prime Minister Jan Fischer of the Czech Republic.

Also attending will be the prime ministers of Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia and the presidents of Estonia, Latvia and Romania.
