MADHOPUR - Hundreds of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists Wednesday hoisted the national flag near the Madhopur bridge, which separates Jammu and Kashmir from Punjab, to mark the 62nd Republic Day.

MADHOPUR - As security personnel swarmed the area, top BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar were Tuesday planning to hold a rally near the bridge separating the state from Jammu and Kashmir to signal their determination to go ahead with the plan to unfurl the national flag at Srinagar.

MADHOPUR - At a place where the Bharatiya Jana Sangh's founder Shyama Prasad Mookherjee broke the permit restriction to visit Jammu and Kashmir in 1953, leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) Saturday called for a "second struggle" for abolition of the Constitution's Article 370 and complete integration of the state with the rest of India.
