Gaddafi’s Ukrainian nurse to return to own country

Kiev (Ukraine), Feb 27 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Ukrainian nurse Galyna Kolotnytska, who takes care of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, will return to her native land soon, a media report said.
The nurse’s daughter, Tatyana, told the Segodnya newspaper: “My mother contacted me yesterday. She said she is currently in Tripoli. There are shootings, fights and everything shown by media. She talked to me calmly, asked not to worry about her and said she will be soon back home.”
Whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks had earlier described Galyna Kolotnytska, 38, as a “voluptuous blonde” who follows Gaddafi in his trips.
Gaddafi is reliant on his long-time nurse, as she “knows his routine”, the website had said citing leaked US diplomatic cables.
Ukrainian authorities have ordered the evacuation of Ukrainian nationals amid the ongoing unrest in Libya. Many Ukrainian doctors, however, want to remain in Libya because they have not collected their wages.
