After Obama, Oz PM gets hi tech situation room

WASHINGTON - After US President Barack Obama, Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has a high security situation room, in parliament.
The facility, costing 35 million American dollars, was initiated under former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, The Courier Mail reports.
Project manager John Edwards said Gillard briefly opened the facility last year on October 3. he room is located next to the cabinet suite near the Prime Minister’s office and is used to discuss military operations and natural disasters. (ANI)
