KOLKATA - West Bengals ruling Left Front chairman Biman Bose Monday said the front will stage demonstrations across the state to protest rise in the prices of essentials in the country.

The states Left Front will protest against the price rise of essentials. We will stage demonstrations in front of central government offices from Feb 3 to Feb 9 in the city and the urban areas of the state, Bose told reporters.

He said the alliance will also stage demonstrations and street meetings in all the districts of the state.

Bose accused the Trinamool Congress of helping the Maoists in killing Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) supporters in West Midnapore district.

So much has been said about Netai incident. But what about the CPI-M supporters who were killed in the district? Are they not human beings? asked Bose.

According to him, the Trinamool is acting as a guide for the Maoists who are killing CPI-M supporters and poor people.
