Prithviraj Chavan sworn in Maharashtra chief minister

MUMBAI - Prithviraj Chavan was Thursday sworn in as the chief minister of Maharashtra, leading the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party coalition government.

Chavan, former union minister, was made chief minster three days after Ashok Chavan’s resignation was accepted over his alleged involvement in the Adarsh housing society scam.
