Manmohan Singh’s private dinner ends

NEW DELHI - The private dinner hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur for the US first couple ended at around 10 p.m. at his official residence here.
US First Lady Michelle Obama was attired in black trousers with a matching heavily embroidered black collarles coat, with a heavy necklace, while Barack Obama was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie.
Gursharan Kaur, wearing a green sari with a red border, bid adieu to the Obamas at the end of the grand dinner with a “namaste”. Manmohan Singh, in a white kurta, a black Nehru jacket and his trademark light blue turban, smilingly said his good byes. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, wearing a dark blue sari with zari border and big earrings, was also part of the gathering.
