AMSTERDAM (GaeaTimes.com) — Dutch MP Geert Wilders moved to the court today in Netherlands on charges of sparking hatred and discrimination against the Muslims. He is accused of making a film called ‘Fitna‘ that is totally anti-muslim and the film showed some links of Quran with terrorists.

Geert Wilders open use of abusing remarks against the Muslims triggered rage among the Muslims in the country. His comments just hit a massive blow against the sentiments of the Muslims. But according to him, he has done nothing wrong and said that his trial won’t stop him proclaiming his thoughts against the Muslims.

Geert Wilders is put on a trial on charges of inciting hatred for the Muslims among the Western society. If he is found guilty, he is going to suffer two years imprisonment and a fine of upto 19,000 euros for each charge against his five charges. This accusations happened to him at such a time when his political career is soaring high as he is the head of the Party for Freedom, which surged in parliamentary elections this year.
