Terry Jones
Terry Jones, the leader of a congregation of about 50 people said that Muhammad Musri, the president of the Islamic Society of Central Florida had lied to him about a planned Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero in New York that would be shifted to some other place. Jones said

I am actually very disappointed and very shocked because if this turns out to be true, he clearly, clearly lied to us.

This led Terry Jones to rethink his decision of complete stoppage of this event that would have sparked violence and hatred all over the world.

Given what we are now hearing, we are forced to rethink our decision, So as of right now, we are not canceling the event, but we are suspending it.

Jones stated in a news conference.

The Quran burning decision was condemned and criticized by U.S top officials including Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Not only Muslims of U.S but Muslims from all over the world expressed their strong protest against this act. Such an event would hurt the sentiments of the common mass and it would led to world-wide war railled by all the Muslims.
