Laura Bush Confirms Attending Flight 93 Honor Ceremony

WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com) — Mrs. Laura W.Bush has confirmed that she will be taking part in a ceremony to honor the 40 heroes of the United Flight 93 on September 11. She will be present as a keynote speaker in that ceremony at Western Overlook at Flight 93 National Memorial.

The ceremony has been arranged to honor the sacrifices made by the passengers and members of Flight 93. They resisted a terrorist attack on nation’s capital by making their plane crash in a field near Shanksville on the fateful September 11, 2001. Mrs. Laura Bush has said that she is honored and proud to be a part of the ceremony. She also stressed that no one should ever forget the brave sacrifice made by those extraordinary men and women.

Mr. Neil Mulloholland, President and Founder of National Park Foundation commented that the former First lady has shown a deep personal commitment towards America’s national parks; specially to the Flight 93 National Memorial. According to him,

In welcoming her to Shanksville, we are reminded how important this place is to Americans, and people around the world, as we honor all of those lost on September 11.
