Dilma is Leading the First Phase of Brazil’s Election

BRASILLIA(GaeaTimes.com) — The race for the presidency of Brazil is heating up. Dilma Roussef the candidate from the workers party is leading at the moment. The Vox Populi Institute in a recent TV poll said that Dilma is ahead of her closest competitor by almost 16 %.

Dilma has almost 45 % of intended votes. The survey was conducted amongst 3,000 voters across 219 municipalities. If the result is official she would be crowned in October 31.
