Rahul Gandhi pays surprise visit to Gujarat’s Anand

GANDHINAGAR - Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi Tuesday caught everyone by surprise when he visited the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA)headquartered at the milk town of Anand in Gujarat.

Gandhi reached IRMA around 11 a.m. and was inside the institute, which is promoted by the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), till about 5.30 p.m. before leaving for New Delhi, IRMA sources told IANS.

Tight security was deployed at the main entrance of the institute and the visit was out of bounds for the media.
