Gilani appeals to Baloch leaders to end their exile

KARACHI - Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday asked Baloch leaders to end their exile and return to the country.

Speaking to the media after meeting Baloch nationalist leader Sardar Attaullah Mengal here, Gilani said his government would take practical steps to remove Baloch grievances.

The Dawn further quoted the Prime Minister, as saying that he had discussed issues related to Balochistan with Sardar Mengal.

He said Mengal was right in demanding practical federal government steps on ending the deprivation of the Baloch people.

Gilani said he had issued instructions for a commission to be set up for the implementation of constitutional reforms and added that his government did not believe in victimisation. (ANI)
