Statement from NSC Spokesman Tommy Vietor on the United Kingdom’s Sanctions Announcement

We welcome the decision by the United Kingdom today to impose sanctions against the five individuals identified by the United States as connected to the plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States.  This sends yet another message that the international community rejects this flagrant violation of international law.
