GANDHINAGAR - Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is set to expand his cabinet for the second time in the last six months Wednesday.

A swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers has been fixed at the Raj Bhavan here Wednesday morning, official sources said.

Highly placed sources said that at least three more people will find berths. The last expansion took place soon after the arrest of former minister of state for home, Amit Shah, in connection with the Sohrabuddin-Kausarbi murder case. Modi had then inducted four new ministers - all at the ministers of state level.

Last week, the chief minister also appointed chairmen for eight state-owned boards and corporations.
