Chandigarh celebrates 62nd Republic Day

CHANDIGARH - Chandigarh celebrated Indias 62nd Republic Day Wednesday with enthusiasm and patriotic zeal.
Pardeep Mehra, adviser to the administrator, hoisted the national flag and took the salute at a parade in Sector 17.
The colourful celebrations included a march past, a guard of honour and cultural programmes. They were watched by hundreds, including politicians and officials.
