President Barack Obama Receives Stitches

WASHINGTON DC (GaeaTimes.com)- On Friday morning, an unfortunate accident happened to President Barack Obama, for which he had to take 12 stitches. The accident took place while a basketball game was going on, where the President was joined by his family and friends. President Barack Obama is known to be an avid basketball player. However, the White House on Friday morning was hit with this tragedy, all due to the exciting basketball game. Reportedly, Rey Decerega, director of programs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute was the man found responsible for the injury.

It was the during the fifth of the five games that was being played, when this unfortunate incident took place. President Barack Obama, was playing defense when Rey Decerega’s elbow accidentally hit the President’s mouth, which resulted in a serious cut on his lip. According to sources, no sooner did the injury occur, when the President was immediately rushed to the White House Medical Unit and given stitches. The President was seen leaving the basketball premises with a ice-bag pressed to his lips. An insider said that the accident took place when they had already played for almost 90 minutes. Friday morning’s game took place in a military base in Washington DC named Fort McNair. The 44th President of the United States Of America has always taken a keen interest in basketball, and that had become evident when he used to indulge himself in the game during his Presidential campaigning days.

Jonathan Smith, a sports fitness instructor at Fort Mcnair told a reputed news channel that he had noticed a few “trickles of blood” on the American President’s lip as he was leaving the game premises. President Barack Obama was treated under local anesthetic with a smaller sized filament, which though needs more stitches but helps reducing the scar to the minimal.
