MILWAUKEE, (GaeaTimes.com)- Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker is all game for cutting down major chunks of layoffs to put the county’s budget line up and straight. The chunk however includes everything ranging from layoffs to furloughs to employee concessions. The emergency budget measures from Scott Walker have been in the muddy waters with the lawmakers who are of the very opinion that these major cuts do not apply in the present scenario. It’s likely that as March 2010 draws end, Milwaukee County security guards will go jobless. Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker had issued some emergency budget powers laying off 27 guards. These guards shall now be replaced by guards from a private security firm called G4S Wakenhut. County Supervisor John Weishan claimed to be receiving the same quality security at the courthouse from an unknown private vendor which is far better than getting it out from a known county employee.

Scott Walker however refuted saying that it’s all about an emergency crisis move which will be well balanced with proper line of security alongside the budget constrains being absolutely in place. There were also two weeks notices being issued for 49 other employees.

Scott Walker is of the very opinion that if any free bonded employees retorts to the wage & benefit reforms, the budget gap thus formed could be covered. Supervisor Weishan however feels that the layoffs from office personnel, bus routes and such others will definitely make it easy for one and all to view various services of the country to be available for only a few days a week. This would ensure the budget constraints.
